GALAXY HIGH SCHOOL VOLUME 1 DVD REVIEW! (06.29.2006)
Well, Galaxy High makes its debut on DVD! Thank you Media Blasters.com! This
disc is one of two, featuring the first seven episodes. Sadly, no extras were included.
It would have been nice to see a production art gallery, as alot of work went
into designing the characters and backgrounds. Also, I would like to hear some
of the background music by Don Felder featured as a seperate CD. The video
quality is not the best in some episodes. A few dust glitches and video lines
are present, and the colors appear a bit faded. But this DVD doesn't compare to
our worn out video tapes! The audio is in 2.0 Mono and there are no subtitles.
Episodes #2 'Pizza's Honor' and #3 'The Beef Who Would Be King' are switched in
order. Not sure if this is the original production number order, as all the
episode guides for Galaxy High are listed in airdate order. It actually makes
since that #3 is before #2, since that episode establishes Beef and Doyle's
antagonistic relationship more. The menu's are great as you can see below.
Both the menu and the cover ulitize the John K. preliminary artwork. If you
want to purchase this dvd, go back to the DVD page for links to online DVD store
websites.
